Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Oil and Gas practice in our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (PA) area office!
ResponsibilitiesThis is a unique opportunity for a consulting engineer with a passion for utility-scale oil and gas projects, such as distribution systems, pipeline design, compressor stations, or gas facilities and to build a practice focused on forward-thinking natural gas solutions.
In this role, you will:
Lead and grow an Oil and Gas consulting team
Build strong, lasting relationships with gas utilities, municipalities, and private sector clients
Deliver technically sound, regulatory-compliant, and financially viable infrastructure projects
Leadership responsibilities include:
Operating with integrity and sound business principles
Providing vision, strategy, and business planning
Establishing and achieving growth goals
Maintaining clear, open communication with partners and staff
Managing projects and mentoring staff for long-term success

Qualifications 15+ years of relevant experience managing oil and gas projects Knowledge of natural gas systems and/or solar industry and processesRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExisting client relationships with utilities, municipalities, or gas service providers
Strong understanding of natural gas systems, utility distribution, midstream infrastructure, or renewable gas technologies
Solid technical proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, Excel, GIS, or related tools
Business development experience (proposals, scopes, budgeting)
A desire to build and lead a practice that drives meaningful infrastructure outcomes
