Job TitleGT PMO Senior Project ManagerJob SummaryThe Global Technology PMO team is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to manage the successful delivery of key strategic projects utilizing exceptional planning and execution leadership. The focus of this role will be on Finance initiatives, with other opportunities as the portfolio demands.This is an opportunity to be part of a team committed to DRIVE success and transformation by encouraging innovation and creativity among team members.The candidate will implement strategic plans and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.Identification and mitigation of potential risks and issues, along with clear performance expectations and standards for team members, are expected.This position is 40+ hours a week, with standard hours of 8 am – 5 pm daily, time zone based on hiring location/managers discretion.Job ResponsibilitiesAdept at navigating complex projects, sometimes with high ambiguity, and applying the appropriate project management methodologies to deliver project outcomes.Adhere to project governance processes and facilitates upholding governance throughout the project life cycle.Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business goals and objectives.Provide thought leadership and advances the project management profession.Proactively identify and address project risks, issues, mitigation plans, and dependencies that must be actively managed.Drive adjustments to a project’s triple constraints (scope, cost, time) regardless of the deployed PM methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).Focus on delivering the outcomes defined by the Product Owner (Agile) or Scope (Waterfall).Financial steward, ensuring that the delivery of projects is within the approved budget.Establish strong internal and external partnerships with key stakeholders, building trust and creating a collaborative environment.Manage relationships with third-party vendors, facilitating alignment with project goals and delivery expectations.Manage and oversee large project teams with internal and external resources.Leverage project team expertise and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Collaborate with PMO senior management to align PM strategies with overall business objectives.Utilize the project team's strengths, skills, and expertise to drive results while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Job RequirementsProven track record managing finance-focused IT projects, such as:ERP / financial system implementations or upgradesFinancial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, FP&A Treasury)Systems integration (APIs, middleware)Financial reporting, consolidation, and planning systemsData warehouse, BI, or analytics initiatives supporting financeSolid understanding of:Financial reporting processes and month-end closeBudgeting, forecasting, and planning cyclesInternal controls and audit requirements (SOX, GAAP, IFRS)Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization’s goals and objectives and ensure that projects are executed in a way that supports a larger strategic vision.Coach and mentor project managers and project teams, providing guidance and support to improve their skills and knowledge. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project and develop contingency plans to ensure the project stays on track.Encourage and promote innovation and creativity among team members and identify new ways of working to improve project outcomes and deliverables.Set clear performance expectations and standards for team members; provide regular feedback and coaching to help team members meet or exceed those expectations.Bachelor’s Degree from a credited institution in Business, Info System, Computer Science, Info Technology, or a related degreeMaster's from an accredited institution +PMP Certification +SCRUM Certification +Planisware Software +15+ years of Project Management Experience on medium to complex projects across multiple workstreams and business areas, preferably application development and implementation of a SAAS/Cloud Base SolutionExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
