Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager - Design to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee complex design projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception to completion. As a key member of our organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and drive innovation in our design processes.

Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for large-scale design initiativesLead and motivate cross-functional design teams, fostering a culture of creativity and excellenceManage client relationships, ensuring clear communication of project goals, progress, and deliverablesOversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept development to final implementationIdentify and mitigate potential risks, developing contingency plans as neededCollaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverablesImplement and maintain project management best practices and methodologiesMonitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgetsFacilitate effective communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholdersConduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for senior managementStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in design processes

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Design, Business Administration, or a related field7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on design-related projectsProven track record of successfully delivering complex design initiativesStrong proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or FigmaProficient in project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft ProjectExcellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teamsOutstanding communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocationSolid understanding of design principles, processes, and current trendsKnowledge of user-centered design approachesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredAdditional design-related certifications (e.g., UX/UI certifications) are a plusAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to travel occasionally, as required by project needs
