About this RoleThe Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) at PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC provides executive-level leadership and oversight for large-scale, high-risk, or multiple concurrent electrical infrastructure projects. This role is accountable for full operational, financial, contractual, and strategic performance across assigned projects or programs.
The Sr. PM leads Project Managers, field leadership, and cross-functional teams while serving as the primary executive interface with clients, utilities, subcontractors, and senior PAR leadership. This position plays a critical role in driving profitability, strengthening customer relationships, improving operational systems, and developing future leaders within the organization.
What You'll DoExecutive Project & Program Leadership
Lead multiple large-scale transmission, substation, distribution, drilling, foundation, or civil utility construction projects simultaneouslyProvide executive oversight from project award through closeoutEnsure projects meet or exceed safety, schedule, financial, and quality targetsIdentify enterprise-level risks and proactively implement mitigation strategiesFull P&L Ownership
Maintain full profit and loss accountability across assigned projects or programsOversee forecasting, cost control, billing, margin protection, and financial bridge reportingReview and approve project forecasts, cost codes, and monthly financial reportsDrive continuous margin improvement and operational efficiency initiativesContract & Risk Management
Lead contract negotiations, change order strategy, and dispute resolutionEvaluate and manage contractual risk exposureOversee claims strategy, documentation standards, and compliance processesEnsure adherence to PAR and Quanta governance requirementsClient & Strategic Relationship Management
Serve as senior executive contact for key clients and utility partnersDevelop and maintain long-term strategic customer relationshipsSupport business development efforts, proposal strategy, and bid reviewsIdentify new market opportunities and expansion strategiesOperational Excellence & Safety Leadership

Directly oversee PM III, PM II, and Assistant PM / Project Coordinator staffDevelop succession plans and mentor emerging leadersSupport recruiting, workforce planning, and performance evaluationsBuild and sustain high-performing, accountable project teamsEstimating & Preconstruction Support
Partner with estimating teams on strategic pursuitsReview and validate major estimates, schedules, and resource plansAssist with project handoff from estimating to operations leadershipProvide executive input on high-risk or complex bids What You'll Bring 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in electrical, utility, transmission, substation, drilling, foundation, or heavy civil constructionProven success managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects or programsDemonstrated full P&L accountability experienceAdvanced knowledge of contract negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolutionStrong executive-level communication and client management skillsExperience leading and developing high-performing project management teamsProficiency in ERP systems (CMiC, Procore or similar), financial reporting, scheduling, and cost controlsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Ability to travel to project sites as required
