About this Role The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) at PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC provides executive-level leadership and oversight for large-scale, high-risk, or multiple concurrent electrical infrastructure projects. This role is accountable for full operational, financial, contractual, and strategic performance across assigned projects or programs. The Sr. PM leads Project Managers, field leadership, and cross-functional teams while serving as the primary executive interface with clients, utilities, subcontractors, and senior PAR leadership. This position plays a critical role in driving profitability, strengthening customer relationships, improving operational systems, and developing future leaders within the organization. What You'll Do Executive Project & Program Leadership + Lead multiple large-scale transmission, substation, distribution, drilling, foundation, or civil utility construction projects simultaneously + Provide executive oversight from project award through closeout + Ensure projects meet or exceed safety, schedule, financial, and quality targets + Identify enterprise-level risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies Full P&L Ownership + Maintain full profit and loss accountability across assigned projects or programs + Oversee forecasting, cost control, billing, margin protection, and financial bridge reporting + Review and approve project forecasts, cost codes, and monthly financial reports + Drive continuous margin improvement and operational efficiency initiatives Contract & Risk Management + Lead contract negotiations, change order strategy, and dispute resolution + Evaluate and manage contractual risk exposure + Oversee claims strategy, documentation standards, and compliance processes + Ensure adherence to PAR and Quanta governance requirements Client & Strategic Relationship Management + Serve as senior executive contact for key clients and utility partners + Develop and maintain long-term strategic customer relationships + Support business development efforts, proposal strategy, and bid reviews + Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies Operational Excellence & Safety Leadership + Champion PAR’s Safety Management System at the highest level + Reinforce a proactive safety culture across all managed teams + Ensure consistent implementation of best practices, systems, and reporting processes + Drive performance metrics focused on productivity, quality, and cost control Leadership & Talent Development + Directly oversee PM III, PM II, and Assistant PM / Project Coordinator staff + Develop succession plans and mentor emerging leaders + Support recruiting, workforce planning, and performance evaluations + Build and sustain high-performing, accountable project teams Estimating & Preconstruction Support + Partner with estimating teams on strategic pursuits + Review and validate major estimates, schedules, and resource plans + Assist with project handoff from estimating to operations leadership + Provide executive input on high-risk or complex bids What You'll Bring + 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in electrical, utility, transmission, substation, drilling, foundation, or heavy civil construction + Proven success managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects or programs + Demonstrated full P&L accountability experience + Advanced knowledge of contract negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution + Strong executive-level communication and client management skills + Experience leading and developing high-performing project management teams + Proficiency in ERP systems (CMiC, Procore or similar), financial reporting, scheduling, and cost controls + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) + Ability to travel to project sites as required Preferred Experience + Utility, transmission, or substation construction experience strongly preferred + Experience operating within a union contractor environment + Multi-project or program-level leadership experience + Experience working within large EPC environments What You'll Get PAR offers a comprehensive benefits package including: + 100% employer-paid health care benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for you and your dependents + 100% employer-paid basic life insurance + 100% employer-paid disability benefits + 401(k) retirement plan with matching contribution + Paid Time Off (sick and vacation) + Paid Holidays + Tuition Assistance + Wellness and Mental Health Programs + Learning and Development Programs PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
