This role requires the Project Manager to have SAP HANA experience and requires advanced leadership capability, strong stakeholder engagement, and proven experience delivering technology projects within Australian Government or large enterprise settings. **Required technical and professional expertise** Key Responsibilities • Lead SAP HANA‑related projects, including design, migration, upgrade, optimisation and integration activities. • Manage full project lifecycle delivery, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. • Develop project schedules, budgets, risk plans, and governance documentation in line with organisational and JRS requirements. • Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders to meet delivery outcomes. • Oversee change management, cutover planning, and transition‑to‑operations for SAP environments. • Provide accurate project reporting, financial tracking and milestone management to senior executives. • Ensure compliance with government, organisational and ICT security frameworks. • Drive continuous improvement in delivery methods, quality assurance and technical governance. **Preferred technical and professional experience** Required Skills and Experience • Extensive experience managing complex SAP transformation or SAP HANA initiatives. • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, hosting environments, and migration approaches. • Demonstrated capability managing multimillion‑dollar technology programs within government or large enterprise. • Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams, vendors and specialist technical resources. • Advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive‑level reporting. • Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies. • Deep knowledge of project governance, risk management and financial management practices. • Relevant project management certifications (such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) are highly desirable. Desirable Skills and Experience • Experience in Federal Government or other regulated environments. • Experience coordinating SAP Basis, infrastructure, cloud and security teams. • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and S/4HANA transition tools.
