Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Project Manager will plan, oversee and lead projects from ideation through to completion. In this role, you will serve as a liaison among project management and planning, project team and line management. You will provide strategic vision and prepare / review the project proposal to resolve time frame and/or budget restrictions and adhere to standard procedures for accomplishing the project.  As project manager you will be accountable for your team’s achievement of project objectives (scope, schedule & cost).

Key AccountabilitiesUnderstand & adhere to Cargill's Process Governance Model and Portfolio & Project Management standards (PPM)Adopt Cargill’s gated Project Delivery Process (PDP) to coordinate and deliver projects in the portfolio and ensure consistent and effective executionIdentify and resolve obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.Adhere to internal and external quality standards.Monitor and report on the status of projects including scope, cost, timing and staffing.Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules and resolve resource requirements.Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of four years of work experience as a Project or Program Manager working on commercial, innovation, process improvement, migration, cost optimization type of projectsPMP or equivalent project management certificationFluent in English (both written & verbal)Experience in civil / build project management will be an added advantageShould be available to travel as per project requirementOther minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or post-graduation from a reputed instituteStrong stakeholder management: able to build partnerships and collaborate with others to meet shared objectives.Proactive attitude: anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.Excellent communication & presentation skills (verbal, written & visual)Should possess strong time management, planning, organizing skills.Should have problem-solving mindset.Language: French or Dutch is an asset
