Position Overview

JLL Project and Development Services is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction and renovation projects. This role requires a dedicated professional with deep expertise in healthcare facility development, regulatory compliance, and project delivery in mission-critical environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject LeadershipManage multiple healthcare projects simultaneously from pre-construction through occupancy, including hospitals, medical office buildings, ambulatory surgery centers, and specialty clinicsServe as primary client liaison, maintaining strong relationships with healthcare administrators, medical staff, and facility management teamsLead cross-functional project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and specialty consultantsDevelop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and risk management plansHealthcare ExpertiseEnsure compliance with healthcare-specific regulations including Joint Commission standards, CMS requirements, and infection control protocolsCoordinate with medical equipment planners and clinical staff to integrate complex medical technology and infrastructureManage projects requiring specialized systems (medical gas, surgical suites, imaging centers, laboratories)Navigate unique healthcare challenges including phased construction, operational continuity, and patient safety requirementsProject DeliveryOversee project budgets ranging from $5M to $50M+, ensuring delivery within approved parametersImplement JLL's project management methodologies and quality assurance processesManage change orders, cost controls, and financial reportingCoordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure timely permit acquisitionStakeholder ManagementFacilitate design charrettes and stakeholder meetings with clinical teamsPresent project updates to executive leadership and board membersManage vendor relationships and subcontractor performanceEnsure effective communication across all project phasesRequired QualificationsExperience7+ years of project management experience in healthcare constructionProven track record managing complex healthcare projects including hospitals, surgery centers, or medical facilitiesExperience with both new construction and renovation projects in occupied healthcare environmentsEducation & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related fieldPMP certification preferredLEED AP credential preferredHealthcare Construction Certification (HCC) a plusTechnical SkillsProficiency in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)Strong understanding of healthcare building codes, infection control requirements, and regulatory standardsKnowledge of medical equipment planning and infrastructure requirementsExperience with integrated project delivery methodsCore CompetenciesExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentsLeadership experience with diverse, multi-disciplinary teamsUnderstanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflowsPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in Construction Management or MBAExperience with JLL systems and processesPrevious experience with academic medical centers or health systemsKnowledge of healthcare technology trends and facility planningWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary commensurate with experiencePerformance-based bonus structureComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plansProfessional development opportunities and continuing education supportFlexible work arrangements and work-life balance initiativesCareer advancement opportunities within JLL's global platformAbout JLL PDS
