What is the opportunity?

You will be working closely day-to-day with the QTS European Programme Director, covering strategic European initiatives and programmes.
 You are expected to be able to manage complex, multi-stream programmes, covering IT and non-IT disciplines.

This includes the requirements, impacts, technical understanding of the current technology stack. You should generate independent ideas and work effectively with partners in a global team split across several different locations and time zones.

This position is full time and will require you to work a minimum of 4 days in the office per week with the option to work one day from home.


What will you do?

Project manage multi-stream complex global tech programmes across Capital Markets IT and non ITManagement and reporting of project budgets and financials including headcount management, services, project, infrastructure etc.Effectively manage any European specific special projects that span across QTS and provide relevant updates to Steering Committees and ExecCos.Act as a senior business analyst in European programmes and as an IT liaison with multiple interfacing applications, 3rd party vendors, IT Executive and/or Project Managers.Work with business delegates to understand and gather requirements


What do you need to succeed?
 

Must-have

Degree, with emphasis on numeracyStrong experience working in Capital Markets /Investment Banking at all levels and across multi disciplinesStrong experience in multiple product areas within Investment Banking from a technology and business perspective, and front to back.Be able to effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and interface groups using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.Be able to prepare and deliver presentations to business and technology partners, senior management and executives, selecting the appropriate approach based on the audience.Strong overall understanding of systems and process flows Some understanding of Risk and Analytics as well as Trading and Sales WorkflowsAble to work in and manage a team with mutual cooperation. Able to lead change
 

Nice-to-have

Some experience in project management within regulatory projects is preferred
