senior project manager, Licensed Stores and Starbucks Reserve (hybrid, Seattle WA)

senior project manager, Siren Retail

Now Brewing – Seattle, WA senior project manager, PMO, USLS & SRR #tobeapartner

At Starbucks, we’re reimagining the customer experience across every corner of our retail landscape—from our trusted Licensed Stores to our immersive Starbucks Reserve® locations. Whether it’s a neighborhood café or a Reserve Roastery, each store is a stage for innovation, connection, and the art of coffee.

We’re looking for a senior project manager to join our team and help shape the future of Starbucks retail. In this role, you’ll lead large-scale or highly complex projects that drive profitability, streamline operations, and enhance the customer and partner (employee) experience. Your work will directly impact how we serve our communities and elevate the Starbucks brand across all formats.

As a senior project manager, you will…

Drive strategic decision-making by collaborating with multiple cross-functional senior leaders to align on priorities and outcomes. Lead and coordinate multiple project teams and sub-teams in the development and implementation of new programs and process improvements, ensuring alignment with Starbucks’ established program management methodologies. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across several concurrent initiatives. Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure timely delivery of expected results. Track and report on key performance indicators, consolidating and communicating project updates while proactively resolving issues to maintain momentum. Represent LS & SRR on cross-functional initiatives, offering subject matter expertise and assessing the financial and operational impact of proposed solutions. Champion best-in-class project management practices, introducing and implementing industry-standard methodologies to elevate execution and efficiency

We’d love to hear from people with:

A passion for contributing to impactful, complex, and evolving programs—along with the drive to manage associated project plans and budgets effectively. The ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver programs and projects that align with company objectives. A flexible, adaptive mindset with a proven ability to lead through change and shifting priorities. 5+ years of project management experience, covering all key areas: scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, and communications. 5 years of experience managing complex, large-scale projects or multiple mid-sized initiatives simultaneously. 2 years of experience mentoring other project managers in both project and program management best practices. A bachelor’s degree (preferred). 2–3 years of experience in food service and production environments (preferred). A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (considered a plus).

As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. Partners have access to short-term and long-term disability, paid parental leave, family expansion reimbursement, paid vacation from date of hire*, sick time (accrued at 1 hour for every 25 hours worked), eight paid holidays, and two personal days per year. Starbucks also offers eligible partners participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, a discounted company stock program (S.I.P.), Starbucks equity program (Bean Stock), incentivized emergency savings, and financial well-being tools.  Additionally, Starbucks offers 100% upfront tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program via the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, student loan management resources, and access to other educational opportunities.  You will also have access to backup care and DACA reimbursement.   Starbucks will comply with any applicable state and local laws regarding employee leave benefits, including, but not limited to providing time off pursuant to the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act, and in accordance with its plans and policies. This list is subject to change depending on collective bargaining in locations where partners have a certified bargaining representative. For additional information regarding partner perks and more detailed information about benefits, go to starbucksbenefits.com.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
