Senior Project Management Specialist

The Senior Project Management Specialist leads the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of high-impact chain-wide projects and programs within the Loss Prevention organization to support shrink reduction goals. This role partners closely with senior leadership to define project vision, scope, and success metrics, while ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities. Responsibilities include managing project portfolios, driving process improvements, and facilitating communication across stakeholders. This position will drive execution of projects that mitigate shrink, reduce damaged merchandise, reduce safety and risk liability, drive profitable sales & production, and support the expansion and growth of the HomeGoods/Homesense organization.

Leads the identification, prioritization, and execution of strategic projects and initiatives aligned with business and shortage reduction goalsPartners with leadership to define project scope, timelines, resources, and success criteriaDevelops and manages comprehensive project plans using project management tools; supervises execution and ensures timely deliveryMonitors project performance, proactively addressing risks, budget variances, and compliance issuesAnalyzes and improves processes, reporting, and workflows to enhance operational efficiencyFacilitates executive-level presentations and decision-making forumsLeads post-project reviews and integrates lessons learned into future initiativesProvides insight and support on cross-functional committees and enterprise initiatives requiring Loss Prevention involvementPrepares and delivers regular reporting on project status, forecasts, and outcomesResolves complex issues and raises critical decisions as neededPerforms other duties as assigned

Qualifications

3-5 years progressive experience in Retail, preferably off-price, with experience in operations, marketing, loss prevention, customer service, and/or project managementBachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work ExperienceStrong leadership, collaboration, and presentation skills with executive presenceSolid ability to influence across all levels of the organizationExpertise in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Lists, Smartsheet)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to employ prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environmentAbility to make effective decisions, revise business strategies that support the vision of the organization and drive projects to completionStrong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office

This position is hybrid requiring at least two days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.

This position has a starting salary range of $69,200.00 to $86,500.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
