Senior Project Engineer - Civil/Structural (Buildings)

Abu Dhabi, UAE

What You’ll Be Doing

Capable of reviewing civil deliverables including but not limited to the following:

Deliverables related to building layouts, utility layouts and parking layouts.

Layouts of the Architectural and Structural works

Details of the Architectural elements and structural elements such as Concrete buildings and steel buildings

Layouts and details of the substations and details

Layouts and details of the potable water, fire water, sewer and storm water pump stations structures

Typical and standard details

Civil design basis reports

Civil Specifications

Compound wall, fence and gates

Topography survey layouts

Earthwork and grading drawings

Ensuring the deliverables are coordinated with the other disciplines

Compliance to Authority standards and specifications

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university

Minimum 12 years buildings experience with at least 5 years work in the UAE in a similar position.

Possess knowledge of the Authority requirements and standards.

Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural engineering team.

Commitment to safe work practices

Ability to coordinate and meet with the Designers, Contractor’s and Authorities.
