Job Title: Senior Project Engineer
Location: Doha, Qatar


Job Purpose
Lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for a major onshore LNG expansion project. Ensure seamless integration across multiple EPC packages and internal teams, while supporting project execution, stakeholder engagement, and operations readiness.

Job Context & Challenges Oversee execution of a large-scale LNG facility, focusing on offplot scopes such as pipelines, storage tanks, berths, and associated infrastructure Align design and execution across multiple EPC contracts Coordinate functional resources to ensure contractor oversight and project delivery Ensure compliance with contractual obligations including safety, quality, cost, and schedule Manage diverse stakeholder expectations and maintain alignment throughout project execution
Key Responsibilities Lead implementation of the project safety management system and ensure safe, efficient operations. Coordinate cross-functional activities within EPC-3/4 and across sub-project teams to maintain alignment and communication. Monitor interface agreements and intervene in underperforming areas to avoid execution delays. Support project reporting, stakeholder presentations, and shareholder engagement. Track project performance, KPIs, and exception reports to identify and resolve critical issues. Coordinate with function managers to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Manage action registers to ensure timely completion of tasks. Ensure compliance with the operator Project Management System, including gate reviews and closure of findings. Oversee completion of the Operations Readiness Plan in collaboration with the Senior Operations Advisor. Conduct regular status reviews and escalate concerns for resolution. Act as focal point for Operations Expansion and Support (OES) regarding documentation and interim operations. Provide technical support for change management and change order analysis. Support risk management by identifying issues, tracking mitigation actions, and evaluating project risks. Advise the Area Division Manager on trends and issues for escalation to the Project Manager. Participate actively in all phases of project execution to ensure flawless start-up and reliable operations.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences Experience Minimum 6 years in project functions such as engineering, construction, procurement, and project management within the Oil & Gas industry Proven experience in EPC execution, pre-commissioning, and commissioning Experience with large, fast-track greenfield and brownfield projects involving multiple EPC contracts Prior experience in Qatar or the Middle East is advantageous Skills Excellent written and spoken English Strong organizational, planning, and coordination abilities Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Strong technical, analytical, and interface management capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management systems
