Title: Senior Project Engineer

Job Purpose
+ Provide technical leadership and day-to-day oversight of FEED and Detail Engineering activities within Oil & Gas projects.
+ Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering efforts to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective project execution.
+ Mentor junior engineers, support risk management, and ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
+ Interface with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead and coordinate FEED/Detail engineering activities across disciplines (process, mechanical, piping, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation) to deliver in-scope packages.
+ Review and approve design bases, drawings, specifications, datasheets, and technical queries.
+ Support development of execution plans, man-hour estimates, and budgets; monitor progress and performance metrics.
+ Perform, review, and supervise design calculations, stress checks, plant layout reviews, and interface management.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, NFPA) and project-specific requirements.
+ Manage change control processes (MOC/Change Requests) and document control practices.
+ Mentor and develop junior engineers; participate in staffing, performance evaluations, and training.
+ Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities with timely technical input.
+ Contribute to risk assessments, HAZOP/HAZID, and safety-related design reviews; drive mitigation actions.
+ Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices; recommend value-added solutions.
Experience
+ Experience: 10+ years of experience in FEED and Detail Engineering and EPCM experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
+ ADNOC EPC/PMC experience are highly preferred
+ Demonstrated track record delivering engineering packages on FEED/detail projects.
Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a related field.
+ Professional memberships or relevant certifications (e.g., PE, Chartered Engineer) are a plus.
+ Certification related to FEED execution, project management, or discipline-specific areas is advantageous.
Technical Skills
+ Strong background in FEED/Detail engineering and multidisciplinary coordination.
+ Proficiency with design and calculation tools relevant to the role (e.g., 3D modeling, piping/layout software, etc.).
+ Familiarity with MOC/Change control and document control processes.
+ Knowledge of codes and standards applicable to oil & gas projects (ASME, API, ISO, NFPA, etc.).
+ Ability to perform technical reviews, risk assessments, and interface management.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
