Senior Project Engineer

We’re recruiting a Senior Project Engineer on behalf of our customer — a nimble, technically respected company where you’ll take real ownership and shape projects from front to back. This is a rare “bigger fish in a smaller pond” scenario: you’ll lead client-facing execution and stamp drawings while contributing meaningfully to team culture and engineering excellence.

What You’ll Own
• Full-cycle project engineering — from client requirements to stamped drawings, vendor review, and final handoff
• Day-to-day client interface: you’re the single point of contact
• Regulatory and standards compliance (ASME, ANSI, API) throughout design and execution
• Multi-disciplinary coordination: internal teams, procurement, fabrication, QC, and shop
• Engineering change orders, bid support, reporting, and documentation
• Mentorship of junior engineers and proactive application of “lessons learned”

What You Bring
• P.Eng. (or P.Tech., P.L. Eng.) registered in Alberta or eligible
• 8+ years of project engineering experience, ideally in gas processing or industrial manufacturing
• Strong command of AutoCAD, Inventor, and project-related tools (Pro/Engineer, Microsoft Office)
• A professional mindset with client-facing confidence and technical accuracy
• Knowledge of fabrication, shop coordination, procurement, and schedule-driven execution

Environment & Tools
• Controlled office with shop visits as needed (PPE provided)
• Use of CAD platforms, Microsoft Office, and internal estimating tools
• Collaborates cross-functionally and communicates across all levels
• Occasionally travels within Alberta (project and client dependent)
