Senior Project/Design Manager
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Project/Design Manager to support the management and delivery of water infrastructure projects from our Atlanta office. Our project/design managers lead the scoping, planning, and execution of projects, ensuring both quality and financial performance. In this role, you’ll leverage your leadership and technical skills to optimize team performance and consistently deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage teams through all phases of project and design planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with Jacobs’ established project delivery processes, to meet scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements. * Be accountable for successfully completing projects to the satisfaction of clients and key stakeholders, while ensuring Jacobs’ expectations are met in quality, financial performance, project delivery, and risk management. * Contribute to the development of the Georgia Water Market by delivering innovative, technology-driven solutions for our clients. * Provide staffing and completion forecasts to Group Leaders and Managers of Projects. * Mentor and support less experienced staff to help them grow into future Project/Design Managers. * BS or MS Degree in an engineering discipline with a focus on water/wastewater systems and infrastructure. * Minimum 8-10 years engineering design experience, with at least 3 years managing multidisciplinary design teams and delivering designs in the water/wastewater field. * PE License in Georgia or ability to obtain within 12 months. Ideally, you'll also have * Experience with the design of water treatment plants and/or wastewater treatment plants greater than 20-mgd. * Demonstrated project experience in the Georgia Water Market. * Construction observation/management and field start-up services experience. * Experience with Alternative Delivery, including Design-Build and/or CMAR. #LI-DL1 Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
