We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Project/Design Manager to support the management and delivery of water infrastructure projects from our Atlanta office. Our project/design managers lead the scoping, planning, and execution of projects, ensuring both quality and financial performance. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage teams through all phases of project and design planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with Jacobs’ established project delivery processes, to meet scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements. * Be accountable for successfully completing projects to the satisfaction of clients and key stakeholders, while ensuring Jacobs’ expectations are met in quality, financial performance, project delivery, and risk management. * Contribute to the development of the Georgia Water Market by delivering innovative, technology-driven solutions for our clients. * Provide staffing and completion forecasts to Group Leaders and Managers of Projects. * Mentor and support less experienced staff to help them grow into future Project/Design Managers. * BS or MS Degree in an engineering discipline with a focus on water/wastewater systems and infrastructure. * Minimum 8-10 years engineering design experience, with at least 3 years managing multidisciplinary design teams and delivering designs in the water/wastewater field. * PE License in Georgia or ability to obtain within 12 months. Ideally, you'll also have * Experience with the design of water treatment plants and/or wastewater treatment plants greater than 20-mgd. * Demonstrated project experience in the Georgia Water Market. * Construction observation/management and field start-up services experience. * Experience with Alternative Delivery, including Design-Build and/or CMAR. #LI-DL1 Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
