Scope: 

The Senior Project Coordinator within Integrative Sciences serves as a partner to the Head of China Integrative Sciences and the broader leadership team. This role is essential in managing and supporting the alignment of external innovation projects in oncology, hematology, and other related disease areas, ensuring effective communication and coordination across BMS and its partnerships in China. The position is based in Shanghai and provides administrative and project management support, facilitating progress and integration of external collaborations within the framework of BMS's China 2030 strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Support:Utilize project management tools and platforms to enhance targeted and effective communication with internal teams and external collaborators.Drive data collection and analysis to support strategic goal-setting and the expansion of integrative science initiatives across partner organizations.Support Integrative Sciences Leadership to design initiatives that foster engagement and scientific exchange across various locations.Event and Meeting Coordination:Lead the planning and logistics of key scientific forums and collaborative meetings with external academic and biotech partners.Coordinate major integrative sciences meetings, preparing necessary materials and supporting with agenda planning that prioritizes strategic discussion points.Capture meeting minutes and track action items to ensure alignment and timely progress on collaborative projects.Team Leadership and Collaboration:Be an active partner and mentor within Integrative Sciences, supporting peers and related roles to promote a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Build and sustain strong relationships with site leadership, operations, and cross-disciplinary teams to facilitate fluid communication and project execution.Operational Support:Provide administrative support to the Head of China Integrative Sciences and other senior leaders, including travel arrangements, expense reporting, and calendar management to optimize efficiency.Support day-to-day operations related to integrative science initiatives, ensuring smooth execution of critical tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.Minimum 3 years of project management experience, with a focus on biotech/pharmaceutical environments preferred.Ability to build and maintain dynamic relationships across functional, site leadership, and external collaborator groups.Strong team-oriented mindset with experience in fostering collaboration across diverse locations and departments.Demonstrated capability in managing multiple project demands simultaneously, with skills in data tracking and analysis to make decisions that have an impact on the teamCapacity to troubleshoot and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and with problem-solving skills for complex situationsExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and MS ProjectFluency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken, is required.
