Sub Same Day (SSD) provides a fast, convenient, and 'delivery in hours' service to Amazon's customers. The SSD network is designed and built to fulfill speed-sensitive products to Amazon's customers in close proximity and allow for delivery in as little as 5 hours. This role will be designing and iterating the building blocks of this service.
We are looking for a results-driven Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives that enhance our SSD fulfillment operations and ultra-fast delivery experience. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs. The Program Manager will be directly responsible for senior leadership reviews on this program.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, grocery, or supply chain operations, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity across multiple teams. This person will partner with operations, technology, finance, and business teams to manage project lifecycles and deliver measurable business impact.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end program management for strategic SSD fulfillment and logistics initiatives that improve customer experience and operational efficiency
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on network optimization and capacity planning, process standardization and automation, technology implementation and system integrations, performance metrics and dashboard development, and cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives
- Manage project lifecycles from conception through implementation, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
Coordinate with stakeholders to identify requirements, track milestones, and mitigate risks
Analyze data and metrics to identify opportunities, measure program success, and drive continuous improvement
- Own and facilitate senior leadership reviews, presenting data-driven insights, program status, and strategic recommendations
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Master's degree, or MBA in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
