This role will be managing India Growth Initiative's execution and coordination from initiation through delivery, including planning and budgeting, program/project control and status reporting, and related troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure completion of assigned program/project is on schedule and within budget – for India. Maintains and refines program/project evolution, considering both internal and market drivers, and converts them to program deliverables. Organizes program/project activities and interdepartmental meetings; identifies and communicates program/project scope and ensures program milestones and objectives are met. He/She manages multiple and/or complex programs/projects, including the development and implementation of business and people strategies and tactics related to the program or project, supporting the VP of India in coordination and delivery of initiatives.
Responsibility:
Manages execution and delivery of India Growth initiative, specific to India specific to India. Refine and maintain program/project plan and schedule for multi-year planning and delivery, coordination with global teams on support and reporting as needed. Assist India VP and Finance partners, including the leadership team planning, estimating, and controlling tasks specific to the India Growth Initiative. Ensure that interfaces are recognized and tasks are integrated. Perform critical path analysis and develop action plans to mitigate risk. Identify and implement alternative solutions. Deliver a variety of presentations in support of the program objectives
Refine and evolve program/project resource plan, including coordination on asks for Opex and resources. Advise and guide teams to develop the business case for initiatives / projects
Effectively contract and communicate with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with program/project management and delivery
Work proactively with the Global South Project Management teams, develop strong relationships and maintain effective communication channels. Consult with others on development and execution of complex program/project plans. Prepare and distribute various reports and updates on the status of the program to various audiences, including executive management, functional management
Analyze program/project metrics and trends to evaluate success of overall program. Anticipate potential issues and risks and implement appropriate remedies. Closely partner with the VP for India, India Growth Council, stakeholders and India Leadership team to ensure on track execution of initiatives
Interface with various functional groups, program/project teams and other stakeholders to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to program success. Implement and improve procedures and processes to optimize program effectiveness. He / She would also coach other Program/Project Managers on effective team collaboration. Manage conflict and escalations, misalignments between teams and across organizational lines
Serve as internal spokesperson for the program/project. Plan content and deliver internal and external program communications to the appropriate audience through various channels, including email, direct mailings, conferences, seminars, and road shows Publish reference materials, brochures, and other program collateral as appropriate for India execution and planning
Develop best practices that can be shared for broader application of initiatives / processes across the company
Experience and Requirements:
10+ year of work experience with 5 years of Complex Program management across multiple workstreams
Good exposure and experience in sales and business environments, sales experience preferred
Strong understanding of strategy and planning, run the business and deriving action-oriented insights from data
Excellence communication skills, influence by authority and executive presentation skills to drive conversations and influence senior management on status, decisions and actions
Exposure to cross functional and matrix organizations preferred.
