Amazon has an immediate opening for an exceptional warehouse operations strategist with deep domain expertise to revolutionize our IT asset management and distribution framework across India. This role demands a proven industry expert who can transform warehouse strategy while ensuring regulatory excellence and driving innovation in multi-site support models.

Regulatory & Site Support:
• Design comprehensive SEZ/STPI compliance frameworks
• Develop scalable bonded warehouse management approaches
• Create predictive site inventory management systems
• Architect cross-location resource optimization strategies
• Transform emergency response methodologies
• Establish site-specific service standards

About the team
Global On-Premise provides IT support to corporate Amazonians in seven key functional areas: In-Person Support (IPS), Audio Visual Meeting Room Support (AV), Infrastructure Support (IS), Day1 Hardware On-Boarding (HOT), Logistics (forward and reverse), Vending Support, and Incident Management (IMT).
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with deep technical expertise in IT warehouse operations and regulatory compliance.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in IT warehouse strategy and operations
- Proven expertise in designing warehouse operational models and automation systems
- Demonstrated success in managing bonded warehouses within SEZ/STPI framework
- Strong track record of implementing predictive analytics in inventory management
- Experience architecting multi-site distribution strategies
- Deep understanding of IT asset lifecycle management
- Proven ability to transform warehouse operations through technology integration
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field
- Experience implementing AI-driven inventory optimization solutions
- Knowledge of emerging warehouse automation technologies
- Background in developing compliance frameworks for regulated environments
- Expertise in capacity planning and demand forecasting
- Track record of pioneering innovative distribution models
- Experience with strategic transformation initiatives
- Understanding of IT asset management complexities
- Certification in warehouse management systems
