Senior Program Manager - Generative AI Enablement

Job Summary

Job Description

We are seeking a Program Manager with a strong understanding of software development and AI tools to lead the adoption and scaling of AI-powered engineering capabilities across our technology organization. You will play a key role in operationalizing the use of AI development assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, and Helios Assist, and in guiding teams toward building a centralized prompt library and evolving into agentic AI systems across different tech stacks.

This role sits in our Commercial Core Banking and Payments division and

is ideal for someone with a background in managing complex, cross-functional technology programs and a passion for AI-driven transformation in software development. This is a newly created role!

What you will do

Drive the strategy, planning, and execution of AI enablement programs within the software development organization

Lead the development and rollout of a horizontal prompt library, ensuring adoption across multiple engineering teams

Collaborate with engineering leaders, AI/ML teams, and developers to identify use cases for AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, and Helios Assist

Champion the shift from prompt-level assistive tools to agentic AI systems, aligning technical teams around key milestones and deliverables

Define and track KPIs and success metrics to measure AI’s impact on software development productivity and quality

Manage risks, timelines, and dependencies across initiatives and ensure effective stakeholder communication and engagement

Create playbooks, best practices, and reusable assets for prompt engineering and agent implementation to drive scale

Stay current on trends in GenAI for software development and translate them into actionable opportunities

What you need to succeed

Must have

Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, technical project management, or transformation leadership roles within software or platform engineering environments

Minimum of 1 year working with AI technologies

Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle (Agile/DevOps), and familiarity with modern development tools and practices.

Experience working with or enabling the use of AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Helios Assist, ChatGPT, Gemini…)

Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional technology initiatives with measurable impact

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Experience working with technical teams and understanding technical concepts, even if not hands-on coding

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in emerging areas like GenAI and agent-based automation

Bachelor’s degree in CompSci or related degree

Nice to Have:

Exposure to prompt engineering, LLMs, or agent-based AI systems

Background in developer productivity, platform engineering, or digital transformation

Experience with AI governance, tool evaluation, and vendor coordination

Prior experience in banking, brokerage, fintech or related industries
