Senior Program Manager, GenAI, ACES Applied Science and AI
If you want to be at the center of AI-powered transformation of Fulfillment Center operations, this role is for you.

Amazon's ACES Applied Science and AI organization is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive GenAI program delivery across North America Customer Fulfillment (NACF) networks, delivering measurable operational efficiency and productivity gains at scale. In this role, you will lead cross-functional AI initiatives that automate routine processes, reduce manual work, and change how operations teams work day-to-day—freeing them to focus on higher-value activities. You will manage programs that consolidate disparate tools, reduce cognitive load, and embed AI-driven automation into operational workflows that today rely heavily on manual effort and institutional knowledge. This role is for someone who can take an idea from inception to a working prototype, then scale it across a network—making smart tradeoffs across cost, performance, and user experience along the way.

Key job responsibilities
* Program Planning & Delivery — Own the full program delivery lifecycle — from building project plans and tracking milestones across model development, site readiness, and integration workstreams, to managing go-live readiness, post-launch iteration, and scaled deployment.
* Metrics & Success Ownership — Define and own program success metrics — establishing clear KPIs at program inception, tracking progress against targets, and reporting outcomes to leadership to demonstrate measurable impact.
* Execution & Delivery Cadence — Drive daily execution with core delivery teams, proactively surfacing and resolving blockers to maintain program momentum across all active workstreams.
* Cross-Functional Alignment — Maintain cross-functional alignment across Operations, Engineering, Science, and business teams by establishing clear communication cadences, ensuring decisions are documented and communicated to all stakeholders without delay, and holding workstream owners accountable to commitments throughout the program lifecycle.
* Leadership Visibility & Escalation — Develop program dashboards and status reports to keep leadership informed on program health, and manage escalations — presenting complex trade-offs to senior leadership with sound judgment.
* Adoption & Insights — Embed with operational teams during deployment to understand real-world usage patterns, identify barriers to adoption, and synthesize ground-level insights into prioritized recommendations that inform product and engineering iteration.
* GenAI Fluency & Technical Acumen — Bring in-depth understanding of GenAI tools, technologies, and the AI development lifecycle — from rapid prototyping and experimentation to production hardening and network-wide scaling — to make informed program decisions, bridge technical and operational teams, and accelerate time-to-value for AI solutions.
