The Senior Professional Special Tools is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and reordering of all specialized tools used in aircraft maintenance, ensuring their proper usability at all times. They compare repair quotes with the costs of new acquisitions and provide recommendations (new acquisition or repair) for decision-making.

Procurement of new equipment according to existing guidelinesIndependent recording of equipment in the utilized systemsCommunication of information about the availability of new tools using existing communication channelsIndependent maintenance and upkeep of existing tools, including regular inspections and documentation checksReordering of spare parts in coordination with the Sourcing and Purchasing PolicyIndependent organization, coordination, and execution of tool repair processes according to applicable guidelines and processesEnsuring the proper condition of specialized and large tools at all times, initiating and tracking replacement procurement when necessaryCoordination with the Warehouse department for optimal storage and regular inspection of storage containersInspection of torque tools and pressure gaugesCross-departmental coordination, control, and quality assurance in the performance of professional tasksCoordination with the Work Preparation and Maintenance departments for optimal sorting (kitting, etc.) and conducting receiving inspections for tools and tool kits, if necessaryCoordination with the HSE department to ensure compliance with testing regulations and workplace safety regulationsEnsuring the availability of manufacturer's instructions and additional informationMaintenance of the tool catalog and content listsParticipation in cross-functional projects

YOUR PROFILESpecialized vocational training or extensive relevant work experience in aviation technical companiesMinimum of four years of work experience in the Tooling, GSE, or Maintenance fieldInspection and release of tools and aircraft componentsExperience in using Boeing and Airbus manuals, particularly in the maintenance and tools areaGood knowledge of MS Office, TRAX, and AMOSExcellent German language skillsExcellent English language skillsOrganizational skills, teamwork skillsAbility to work independentlyGood communication skillsGood manual skillsOUR OFFER
