WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a core member of the EMEA Brand Communications team, you will report to the Snr. Director of Brand Communications, EMEA. The individual will have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled communicators across Brand, Employee, Marketplace and Corporate Communications, as well as global and territory teams, to help advance our brand and business through impactful storytelling.
This role will focus on Training and NikeSKIMS working closely with Nike’s cross-functional Training and NikeSKIMS brand teams, you will also be expected to contribute across other fields of play as needed to support business priorities.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Professional with extensive experience in communications and a deep understanding and affinity for all things training and wellness, as well as its influence on sportswear, style and culture.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing communications strategies specifically within the training and wellness industry or aligned sport categories. Demonstrate an ability to collaborate with diverse teams, think critically, and effectively manage multiple, often competing, priorities.
This role requires a strong leadership first mindset, with the capacity to access and apply knowledge of consumer and media insights, trends, and intelligence related to culture, innovation, and the evolving landscape of running communities. A genuine curiosity for the culture of running and a passion for staying ahead of the curve is key.
The successful candidate will demonstrate agility, welcome change by finding creative solutions and achieve objectives even in situations of ambiguity. Extensive and long-standing experience in corporate communications or public relations roles supporting (global) sports / eminent organizationsDeep knowledge about current and evolving social media and sports platforms, tools and technologies and their effective use to resonate with Gen ZAffinity and profound understanding of Training , streetwear and broader culture within EMEA.Professional experience and keen understanding of the sphere of influence of fitness communitiesSuccessful experience in developing and executing strategic communications plans, that deliver narrative-led storytelling and consumer engagement with a variety of key audiences and stakeholders, both external and internalExcellent and effective communicator of ideas, concepts and plans, with the ability to influence across a complex matrix on a functional and local basis.Strong end-to end project management skills, including strategic planning, creative ideation, execution, budgeting, and agency managementAbility to Travel, 10-20%.
