Senior Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Coordination of daily open-pit operations including drill & blast, dewatering, haul road conditions, and equipment movement. Coordination of mining contractors and operators, helping to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Participate in implementing survey instructions (toe and crest lines, grades, pickups). Ensure work is carried out safely and in compliance with site procedures and regulations. Observe and report on field conditions, identifying any issues and escalating them to the appropriate supervisor. Promote and model safe work practices, reporting hazards and unsafe behaviors promptly. Shift handovers, reporting, and tracking of daily production figures.  Support the training and coaching of operators in best practices and site protocols.  Attend toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualification Requirements:

Be of legal age of Congolese nationality Minimum a college-level diploma in a technical discipline. A demonstrated ability to understand mine plans and schedules and prioritise based on evolving circumstances using analytical and problem-solving skills Minimum two (5) years related experience, including supervision. The ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Proficiency with a computer and Microsoft Office programs and other similar programs

Experience and Skills Requirements:

A high regard for safe practices Have an open mind of sharing and collaboration with other partners Good verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated experience supervising multiple teams to deliver against stretch targets A demonstrated ability to understand mine plans and schedules and prioritise based on evolving circumstances using analytical and problem-solving skills Two (2) years of experience in the mining industry is preferred Competency with Microsoft Excel is required
