Senior Production planners are responsible for all aspects of the weekly schedule for the product portfolio. Presenting status, projecting inventory position, and updating customers and suppliers of changes to forecast are integral parts of the role. Planners run scenarios and build tools to advise business partners and senior level leaders of relevant data **Key Responsibilities:** + Plans, schedules and coordinates production resources for a range of NPI products and/or product with high complexity and/or number to meet the Master Production Schedule and/or customer orders. + Resolves manufacturing resource and material availability issues affecting schedule. + Generates Work Orders and allocate associated materials. + Prepare weekly schedules align with MPS plan + Communicate production priorities and follow up as needed + Support production team to meet Schedule Attainment Target + Ensure Planning Parameters are reviewed every quarter (ex. Leadtime, Safety Stock, Lot size) + Utilize KPIs such as Net Requirement Plan Attainment (NRP-A), constrained Master Production Schedule Attainment (cMPS-A), WIP Entitlement, Safety Stock Attainment, On Time In Full (OTIF) in order to provide business insights, opportunities and risk through the E2E supply chain. + Optimize inventory to meet BP targets / Service Targets + Review “Excess & Obsolete (E&O) quarterly + Ensure SAP data and WO accuracy + Generates purchase requisitions as needed to support scheduled work orders. + Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times. + Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer. **Qualifications** **Education:** A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field is preferred. **Experience and Skills:** **Required:** + Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional work experience + Experience working in Master Production Schedule or Planning in a manufacturing environment + Proficient understanding of connectivities and interactions between finished good planning and direct materials planning. + Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel + Ability to read and comprehend procedures and process instructions on drawings **Preferred:** + Experience in planning systems is required, cross-site planning systems + Supply network planning experience + Supply Chain Certification (APICS) + SAP, Windchill Doc experience **Other:** + May require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
