As the Senior Product Manager - Technical for the Sherlock Platform, you'll shape the future of how Amazon teams detect and address defects at enterprise scale.
Key job responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be driving the technical evolution of Sherlock into a unified defect detection platform that can be used by all Amazon teams. You'll own critical components that transform defect detection from manual processes into automated, AI-powered intelligence through LLM-based detection systems. Specifically, you will:
1) Drive the technical roadmap and architecture decisions for our scalable LLM-based defect detection system
2) Own the development of our unified AI-powered defect detection engine that processes diverse data sources across the shopping journey
3) Lead the platform's evolution toward a fully self-service solution for programs to onboard use cases
4) Define and execute the strategy for automated pipeline configuration and monitoring across multiple marketplaces
5) Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Amazon Retail, Stores, and other business units
6) Define success metrics and track platform adoption, defect detection accuracy, and business impact across the organization
A day in the life
You'll operate at the intersection of evolving ML technology and real-world business impact. A typical day might include:
1) Working closely with Amazon programs to understand their defect detection needs, and onboarding them as users of Sherlock
2) Defining platform features and requirements for upcoming releases across the customer journey
3) Collaborating with ML Scientists and Engineers to build and optimize our LLM-based defect detection models
4) Analyzing platform metrics to identify usage patterns to inform product evolution and performance optimization opportunities
5) Contributing to technical design reviews for new defect detection capabilities
