JOB DESCRIPTION:
Gather, evaluate and possess solid understanding of customer use cases. Create processes that are adept at recognizing customer needs. Align/coach the team to ensure customer needs are met. Leverage metrics to track progress on customer needs and ensure that product efforts move those metrics. Identify the most important data to consider and set KPIs, priorities and dashboards. Develop multiple hypothesis-driven product evaluation strategies, such as AB testing, and assess the expected efficacy of each. Develop clear go-to-market launch plans through coordinated development with external customer-facing teams such as marketing and sales. Own or support commercial strategy and/or pricing strategy where the customer value proposition is tested and iterated as early as possible in the product lifecycle. Independently accountable for portions of launch and strategy execution as assigned. Drive key end-to-end lifecycle components, from planning to release. Write clear requirements for complex features or products and respond to requests for clarifications. Manage product without direct supervision, involving manager or other senior leaders only when appropriate. Develop product vision and roadmap plan aligned with business strategy and communicate across all critical stakeholders. Own metrics for product level measurement of ROI, develop tracking and communication of product level budget. Write or contribute product expertise to development and submission of business cases. Support and participate in business strategic planning, contributing to sales and business development strategy. Perform other duties as needed.REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.Also required is: 3 years of experience in: understanding technology stack at a high level; engaging technology developers and the business at a high level to understand the scope of effort; articulating business needs to technology developers at a high level; making assessments of technology risks involved with projects; and Insurance Market workflow of the buying process to help understand client’s needs.Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.Experience can be concurrent.#LI-DNI
