Senior Product Manager, Amazon Turkey Payments
Description Do you want to help drive innovations in the e-commerce space? Do you have a track record of successfully designing customer facing products and world class customer experiences? Amazon Türkiye’s Payment Acceptance and Product Management team is looking for a contributor with strong payment product development experience to design and drive Amazon's new payment offerings for our customers in Türkiye. Amazon’s Payment team is responsible for how Amazon’s customers pay on Amazon’s websites and through Amazon’s services. In this role, you will work with a team of product managers, talented developers, internal and external stakeholders to launch new customer facing Payment products to create engaging shopping experience. You will define strategic direction while maintaining attention to implementation details. You will take ownership and influence others to deliver on your goals. You will collaborate with a diverse set of internal teams to achieve success. You will chart the course of enhancing existing and creating new products and services that solve real problems for our customers and create rewarding experience. Key job responsibilities - Building Amazon payment products (e.g. rewards card, shop with points). - Driving customer acquisition and engagement through payment products. - Owning, building and driving the paying customer experience for Amazon in Türkiye. - Partnering with internal business teams across Amazon to identify and influence development of new payment products and services. - Promoting data-driving decision making throughout the team. - Build and manage high quality product roadmaps based on your vision and strategy. - Communicating performance, articulating root-cause analysis and linking to specific improvement areas. - Sharing best practices with other Amazon teams. - Keeping leadership updated. Basic Qualifications - Solid experience with product management. - Strong card payment and credit card product background. - Ability to prioritize complex deliverables, negotiate with stakeholders, have highly technical discussions, and run large meetings with technical and business leaders. - Ability to work in ambiguous situation. - Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization - Understanding and practice with product management methodologies, especially those that support agile software development environments. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree, MBA or advanced technical degree. - International payments experience. - International business experience. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes. - Excels at delivering results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. - Ability to challenge status quo and reinvent on behalf of customers.
