As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Trane, you will be responsible for designing the equipment and systems that support these goals. You will lead engineering teams, develop concepts for new & improved commercial HVAC products and solve complex technical problems, leading to production of sustainable new products.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

What you will do: 

·       Apply interdisciplinary engineering expertise to solve system design and product application problems.

·       Plan and direct the efforts of engineering and technician teams to meet performance, reliability, quality, cost and schedule objectives.

·       Support sales order attainment by providing custom design modifications.

·       Support field and factory problem resolution.

·       Conduct laboratory testing as required.

·       Some overnight travel required (less than 10%).

What you will bring:

Associates OR  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline

7+ years of mechanical experience

Annual Compensation Range is $68,000 to $145,000 annually.  Disclaimer:  This salary range is based on US national averages.  Actual pay could be a result of seniority/experience level, merit and geographic location where the actual work is performed.
