Wood is currently looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities across our projects
legal/commercial experts and can under guidance initiate/discuss adaptations in order to reach a robust commercial agreement. Regularly reports progress of all procurement activities for which they are responsible. Ensures direct reports regularly update reports/systems with required information to allow accurate reporting and escalates any critical issues and risks to project management. Accountable for the successful delivery of all procurement activities that they are responsible for. Responsible for the end-to-end sourcing process (Strategy through Close Out) for the major procurement/subcontract packages assigned to them. Provides guidance, direction and support to the reporting personnel in delivery of their specific responsibilities. Provides guidance, direction and support to all relevant stakeholders on both Woods and the suppliers specific contractual obligations and responsibilities. Ensures all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with the project execution plan/schedule and/or contracting strategy, within approved budgets and in line with project processes and procedures. Assisting with development of processes and procedures, and communication to relevant personnel. Update the project / procurement status report (PSR) in line with project / client required on site dates and current / estimate lead times, notifying any delays to the procurement lead. Attend regular PSR meetings with client, engineering and/or project management personnel to ensure dates for pre-order deliverables within their portfolio are being maintained

Responsible for the execution of specific aspects of procurement management including expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation and reporting of major procurement packages/subcontracts. Responsible for the supervision and guidance of directly reporting supply procurement specialists/associates. Clear understanding of the client’s head contract requirements including Wood responsibilities and knowledge of how these are integrated into project procurement strategies, plans, procedures and terms and conditions. Has working knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, interfaces with Woodlegal/commercial experts and can under guidance initiate/discuss adaptations in order to reach a robust commercial agreement.
