**What's in it for you:**
The Senior Procurement Manager – Large Rooftop, is part of the Commercial HVAC BU Procurement team and leads the site Procurement team members to develop and execute Procurement Strategies to support the Large Rooftop Product Growth Team. The Senior Procurement Manager will play a key role in improving our overall procurement and supply capabilities by helping to leverage our Functional Excellence to develop our Talent for Growth, create Innovative Strategies, and continually improve our Dynamic Supply Chain. This role will fully engage with our Product Growth Team (PGT) and partner with category teams to ensure we have the right procurement strategy, including supplier selection, to support profitable growth.
This position will be on-site based in Clarksville, TN and will require 25% travel.
**What you will do:**
+ Responsible for developing Procurement strategy to support Portfolio/Product Growth Teams (PGT) profitable growth strategy in partnership with Category Management.
+ Responsible for developing Supply Strategy, in alignment with Category team, to support product and manufacturing strategies. The team is responsible for supplier selection and approval of all business awards and readiness of suppliers for new product development projects.
+ Provide support to Site Procurement Manager & Category to continuously drive overall Procurement Scorecard improvements. Typical KPI’s would include productivity, margin expansion, supplier performance (on-time delivery and quality), dual sourcing, in-region for region spend, supplier lead-times, cash flow, and risk mitigation.
+ Ensure Procurement projects are prioritized, with appropriate resources, within the Product Growth teams. Work with leadership to ensure proper Procurement resources are available to support business needs including New Product Development (NPD), productivity, and risk projects
+ Accountable for team’s utilization of standard work including project tracking and documentation. Actively engaged with team members to eliminate roadblocks and escalate issues appropriately.
+ Ensure alignment of commodity strategies with PGT and plant strategies/requirements. Responsible for sharing plant and PGT specific strategies with commodity teams. Partner with commodity teams to ensure plant leadership understanding of commodity strategies.
+ Active participant in business unit/plant gate reviews to ensure Supplier/Supply Chain requirements are developed and included in Product Development Process (PDP) projects. Ensure product & plant requirements are included in all Source Change projects.
+ Participate in Sales, Inventory, Operations Process (SIOP) to ensure Supply Chain alignment to future demand and manufacturing build plans - ensure suppliers can support supply plan including capacity and lead-times.
+ Provide 2nd Level support to Site Procurement Managers during Supplier Escalation while ensuring team is fully engaged to reduce and minimize the number of supplier material shortages.
+ Engage with plant controllers and Integrated Supply Chain finance team to align and ensure Inflation/Deflation Accuracy.
+ Provide requirements & feedback on supplier contracts & negotiations as part of Pre-negotiations and post negotiations process.
+ Support the identification and mitigation of supplier risk, aligned with category and PGT, to secure proper resources to drive supplier chain flexibility and resilience.
**What you will bring:**
+ Bachelors Degree required
+ A minimum 5 years of procurement, category, or supply management experience.
+ A minimum of 2 years experience in people leadership
+ Experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred
+ Strong Analytic experience
+ Experience in supplier development, materials management, and/or supplier quality a plus.
+ Must be a strategic thinker and have demonstrated experience developing and driving strategies
+ Ability to influence and collaborate with other functions and leaders
+ Experience running large complex cross functional projects
+ Ability to travel up to 25%

+ Supply Chain Acumen – Oversees development and execution of GSC strategies/playbooks for assigned components or services, drives utilization of common GSC tools to achieve optimal IR results that are Quality, Delivery, Price and Service balanced and corporate/governmental compliant.
+ Project Management – Reviews and approves teams’ project plans, oversees project execution, balances projects between short and long-term focus, secures alignment with cross-functional partners.
+ Global Business Thinking/Strategizing-Demonstrates deep global knowledge of suppliers, industry trends, emerging markets and technology, builds this knowledge into GSC strategies/playbooks develops global talent.
+ Problem Solving—Identifies/anticipates potential problems, supports root cause analysis, evaluates robustness of corrective action plan and oversees plan implementation.
+ Relationship Management – Creates collaborative environment with cross-functional partners, assures regular/appropriate two-way communication flow, builds/maintains relationship with industry peers and suppliers, and reinforces GSC lead on “on IR voice” to the supply base.
**Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:**
$104,500.00 - $188,265.00
