Senior Process Engineer - Temporary Project

Join us and let us focus together on what’s truly important: making lives better with new ideas and the latest technology around the world.Position Summary:Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in the design, development, and supervision of multidisciplinary projects in the energy and food & beverage sectors. This position will lead basic and detailed engineering activities, process analysis, simulations, and on-site supervision, ensuring full compliance with national and international standards.Responsibilities:• Lead and develop basic and detailed engineering for industrial plants.• Design and calculate mechanical equipment and piping systems according to ASME, API, and NOM standards.• Perform process simulations and hydraulic calculations using specialized software (Hysys, AFT Arrow, AFT Fathom).• Prepare technical-descriptive reports, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).• Supervise hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, coordinate regulatory inspections, and ensure compliance with technical certifications.• Manage technical evaluation of suppliers and procurement of critical equipment such as heat exchangers, tanks, valves, piping, insulation, and coating systems.• Support cost and time estimations and develop technical-economic proposals.• Participate in national and international projects, ensuring alignment with global engineering standards.• Provide on-site technical support to resolve construction and operational issues.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in process engineering and industrial project execution.• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and NOM standards.• Up-to-date certifications and training in pressure vessel design, storage tank fabrication, project management, and process simulation.• Technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.• Availability to travel and work on-site as required.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Siemens is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
