Senior Process Engineer
Job Description As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping an autonomous manufacturing strategy while driving innovation and operational excellence. Your day-to-day will blend strategic leadership with technical engagement—guiding cross-functional teams through advanced solutions like AI, robotics, AMRs, MES/ERP integration, and digital twins. You’ll spend time in the office collaborating with engineers and senior leaders, while also getting hands-on in labs and on the production floor to evaluate challenges and validate solutions. This role involves leading investigations into technical issues, enabling data collection efforts, and ensuring teams have what they need to implement improvements. You’ll oversee governance frameworks, report progress to executives, and communicate with global innovation teams to align objectives. Expect a dynamic mix of strategic planning, problem-solving, and technical oversight, with approximately 10–20% travel across North America. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field. 10+ years in manufacturing, logistics, or advanced automation with proven leadership in strategic program development and governance. Expertise in automation, robotics, MES/ERP, and digital transformation. Ability to influence affiliate presidents and senior leaders across multiple organizations. Strong track record of defining strategy, establishing governance, and driving competitiveness outcomes. Exceptional portfolio/program management skills, balancing long-term transformation with near-term execution. Master’s Degree Experience leading regional/corporate-level strategy initiatives in manufacturing competitiveness. Familiarity with AI-driven inspection, autonomous systems, and simulation/digital twin approaches. Knowledge of global manufacturing ecosystems and cross-cultural leadership. Certification in PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent.
