Our client is a recently formed Independent Joint Venture organisation in the Energy sector a Senior Process Engineer, where your expertise in process optimization at Technical Authority level will drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency.

Role Overview

Conduct design and asset optimization activities focusing on unique topics guided by established procedures. Undertake the process engineer role with a holistic approach to discipline integration. Deliver technical work independently, exercising good judgment on when to consult others. Provide assurance for technical work of peers. Translate guidelines and standards into practice, solving complex technical challenges. Drive the identification, development, and implementation of new technologies to optimize field operations. Contribute to training and guidance for other professionals in the field. Represent the company externally as a subject matter expert with suppliers and customers. Work with minimal or no technical supervision, potentially holding Technical Authority. Support integration across engineering disciplines to ensure safe and cost-effective delivery. Interface with external stakeholders and manage contractors effectively.

Skills & Qualifications

Process Optimization: Proven experience in optimizing (electro) chemical processes. Technical Expertise: Strong background in process engineering principles and practices. Judgment Skills: Ability to make informed decisions independently. Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships with external stakeholders. Holistic Approach: Capability to integrate various engineering disciplines effectively.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Certifications: Relevant professional certifications preferred. Experience: Relevant experience in process engineering, with a focus on optimization.
