Senior Process Engineer
**Job Description** Full-time onsite: + Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. + _The position is 1st shift on 4/10s Monday-Thursday_ We are seeking a dynamic, motivated professional to peform the following: + Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly processes and possess a continuous improvement mindset. Requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel in a team-based environment. The SEAS factory is a 55,000 square foot focus factory specializing in systems integration and test of complex electro-mechanical hardware in support of all branches of our armed forces. You will be working closely with an experienced team of manufacturing professionals to develop processes, detailed instructions, tooling, and equipment necessary to assemble and inspect complex electro-mechanical hardware. You will have an opportunity to contribute to the success of new designs by sharing your experiences and lessons learned in the factory. You will be producing and evaluating quality data collected during assembly and test and be responsible for implementing defect prevention and continuous improvement actions. You will be challenged with investigating a variety of manufacturing issues associated with quality, cost, and delivery and tasked with finding innovative solutions. You will roll up your sleeves and work closely with assemblers, inspectors, test technicians, and peer design, manufacturing, or test engineers to work complex issues to closure. This is a great opportunity to learn while being challenged and provide an important service to our country. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience with shop floor control software including Oracle, Solumina, Tip QA, or similar enterprise manufacturing applications. + A quality focus is desired with good knowledge of quality systems and experience evaluating quality data and implementing sound corrective and preventive action. + Must be comfortable preparing presentations and speaking and presenting to teammates of diverse backgrounds, technical capabilities, and levels of management. + Must be highly proficient using current computer applications to solve complex manufacturing challenges. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Must be hands on and prepared to roll up your sleeves and work closely with assemblers, inspectors, test technicians, and peer design, manufacturing, or test engineers to work complex issues to closure. + A Technical Degree and broad experience in manufacturing or process engineering supporting Cable/Harness and Mechanical Box build/integration and test in a DOD or commercial environment or equivelent experience. + 7-10 years hands on experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer in a low volume production environment. + DOD experience. + Previous experience at BAE is preferred. + Experience with on-line shop floor and quality improvement enterprise software. + MES Paperless (BAE) Systems proficient. + Experience with AS9100(ISO 9000), AS9145(APQP) or equivalent quality standards + Lean, SPC, 6 Sigma application in low volume high mix environment. + Confident with PC applications and data analysis using excel, Minitab, or equivalent. + Secret Clearance eligible. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
