**What you'll do…**
1. **Training & Development:** Design, deliver, and maintain standardized training programs for material handling employees, covering equipment operation, safety, and system usage (PMHV, EWM, SAP). Conduct training needs assessments, evaluate program effectiveness, and maintain accurate training records. Coach and mentor team members on best practices and problem-solving.
2. **Safety & Compliance:** Champion a world-class safety culture, ensuring compliance with all Ford, plant-specific, and regulatory (OSHA) standards. Develop and implement safety policies, conduct audits, and lead incident investigations to implement corrective actions. Manage safety KPIs (LTC, FTOV) and ensure proper PPE use.
3. **Continuous Improvement & Performance Management:** Drive a continuous improvement mindset (Lean principles, Kaizen) by identifying inefficiencies in material flow and operations. Lead cross-functional CI projects. Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, equipment uptime) to address performance gaps and support new technology implementation.
4. **Leadership & Workforce Engagement:** Provide daily coaching and support to material handling personnel. Address employee concerns in coordination with HR and management, fostering teamwork and a high-performance culture.
**You'll Have…**
· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a material handling, logistics, or manufacturing operations role, preferably within the automotive industry.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP or equivalent ERP/MRP system planning role and/or as business users.
· Proficiency with Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Powered Vehicle Handling Equipment (PMHV) and Warehouse Management Systems (EWM).
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt), are highly desirable.
· Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping), and KPI management.
· In-depth knowledge of occupational safety standards (e.g., OSHA) and experience implementing safety programs.
· Results-Oriented: A strong drive to achieve and exceed goals, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
· Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team.
· Continuous Improvement Mindset: Passionate about identifying and implementing improvements; proficient in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
· Problem-Solver: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
· Excellent Communicator: Clear, concise, and effective verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of engaging audiences at all levels.

This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall, MI, with the expectation to be on-site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).
Once your employment with Ford commences, you will be assigned to BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC. You will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work at BlueOval Battery Michigan, Ford’s wholly owned subsidiary located in Marshall, Michigan. You will remain an at-will employee at all times during your employment with Ford or any Ford affiliate or subsidiary with which you later become employed.
