In this role, the ideal candidate will be leading the software development of applications for multiple projects that provide avionics test solutions to our factories, service centers, and external customers. You will collaborate with engineers from several disciplines, including electrical, project, mechanical, hardware design, and systems engineers. You will also be guiding a team of talented engineers, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The ability to train, instruct and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers to help them diagnose and solve problems and build capabilities are essential skills for this position. **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** + **Technical Leadership** - Provide technical leadership to a wide range of entry-level to highly experienced engineers through all phases of the test software development lifecycle including requirements capture, design and dry coding, integrating with hardware and software components, software validation and verification. + **Process Leadership** – Help develop and implement new and improved processes for the software engineering discipline within Avionics Test Engineering. **WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:** + **Technical Expertise** : You will enhance your technical expertise by mentoring a team of software engineers working across a portfolio of up to 15 projects.
