We have an exciting opportunity at Caterpillar on the Energy and Transportation pricing team for a Senior Pricing Consultant.
This role is a trusted advisor and consultant to the Large Electric Power Solutions (LEPS) industry team to achieve profitable growth through excellent decision support and consulting. As the Senior Pricing Consultant, you will develop pricing recommendations and execute differentiated pricing strategies with direct involvement with LEPS leaders. In addition, you will support Energy and Transportation wide pricing initiatives and analysis.

Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or another business-related discipline.Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Top Candidates Will Have:
Base knowledge of products, product applications, sales variance programs, and business systems.Previous experience working with commercial and/or sales teams.Additional Information:
This position requires 5 days of on-site presence at the Geneva office.Travel time up to 10-20% when required.A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.What We Offer
