Senior Premium Administrator
The opportunity:
This position is responsible for the accurate and timely posting of premium received from clients to the Administrative System as well as researching any premium related issues with a client. The Senior Premium Administrator will serve as the lead on any issues, questions, or training needs that may come up during the normal course of business for a Premium Administrator.

Minimum 3 years prior insurance billing experience requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredFamiliarity with insurance concepts preferredActs as the lead and works to resolve any issues or questions that arise during the normal course of business for the Premium AdministratorMentoring and one on one training of Premium AdministratorPost premium payments to the Administrative System in an accurate and timely mannerAnalyze the following on a monthly basis:Due & UnpaidActual to Expected (A/E)Verify New Sales Data with established parametersEnsure all unapplied cash amounts are resolved with ClientIdentify and report premium discrepancies to Underwriting and to the clientProcess group terminationsResearch premium records for Underwriting and Claims and ensure all items are identified and documentedEscalate any unresolved discrepancies to Senior Manager, Claim Accounting & Premium ServicesCoordinate with internal and external auditors to answer audit questions regarding blocks of businessReconcile premium settlements received from clients to the payments received through our bank accountsMaintaining and regularly updating departmental documentation, including job aidesCollaborate with Finance to review the financials, as neededParticipate in client implementations and collaborate with other areas of the company to work through the premium process specific for the clientOther duties and responsibilities as assignedNot ready to apply yet but want to stay in touch?
