Kimley-Horn is seeking a Practice Builder to lead and grow our Roadway Design practice in Los Angeles, California (CA)!
ResponsibilitiesKimley-Horn is seeking a motivated professional to expand our team and presence in the local market focused on roadway, highway and/or municipal projects. This position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, client engagement, and the growth of the roadway design practice in Southern CA including Orange County, Inland Empire, Los Angeles, San Diego and/or surrounding markets. Additional activities include managing the design and delivery of projects profitably while being actively involved in design issues, partnership with fellow Practice Builders, client engagement and overall project oversite.

Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil EngineeringLicensed Civil Engineer in the State of California15+ years of experience in civil design of local roadways, urban freeways and/or interchangesExperience successfully winning and delivering work in Los Angeles and/or surrounding areasKnowledge and experience with the full life cycle of roadway projectsExperience and relationships with Caltrans, local agencies, and/or local municipalitiesDemonstrated ability to manage roadway projects profitably, while leading a team and collaborating key stakeholdersExperience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected workBase Salary Range:
