**Summary**
The Senior Power BI Analyst transforms data into actionable insights that inform strategy and improve business performance. This role spans the full analytics lifecycle—from requirements gathering and data modeling to visualization and storytelling—helping leadership make data-driven decisions. The analyst develops compelling dashboards, ensures data integrity, and partners with business and technical teams to deliver scalable BI solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with business partners to define reporting requirements and build accurate data models.
+ Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize KPIs, trends, and opportunities.
+ Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
+ Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to support decision-making.
+ Identify data quality gaps and implement process improvements.
+ Present findings and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Maintain and enhance existing BI products and automate reporting workflows.
**Qualifications**
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree preferred.
**Experience:** 3+ years in BI, data analytics, or related roles.
+ Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization.
+ Strong SQL development experience (queries, stored procedures, views).
+ Proficiency with DBT for transformation and data modeling.
+ Experience using GitHub or equivalent version control platforms for collaboration and CI/CD workflows.
+ Familiarity with Airflow or similar tools for data pipeline orchestration.
+ Experience or strong interest in Microsoft Fabric, including its Data Science and Data Agent tools.
+ Experience working with or exposure to Azure SQL Managed Instance and/or Snowflake environments is a plus.
+ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, schema design, and ETL/ELT best practices.
+ Strong data reporting and financial analysis experience, particularly within food service or related industries, is highly valued.
+ Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and business insights.
+ Solid mathematical understanding to ensure accuracy and consistency in calculations across reports and dashboards.
+ Strong analytical and reasoning skills, capable of interpreting complex data and solving problems with structured logic.
+ Familiarity with basic design concepts and common dashboard development patterns.
+ Proven ability to execute on projects quickly; “get things done” mentality.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to align data solutions with strategic objectives.
