As a Senior Portfolio Manager on the Virtual Care and the Ambient Technology team, you will help drive the strategic direction of our connected ecosystem.  This role offers the opportunity to shape the roadmap of one of Stryker’s most exiting recent acquisitions, care.ai. 

The preferred candidate will be located in Mountain, Central or Eastern time zones.

Design and execute research that informs:  digital and hardware product innovation, competitive insights, and long-term strategy.Engage with customers, KOLs, and research firms to gather VOC and understand unmet user needsUnderstand potential new sources volume in adjacent and game-changing markets; collaborate with your portfolio teammates, BD, R&D, RAQA, and other cross-functionals to build strategy for these markets.Build financial business case model to support new product development or new capability development for virtual care and AI portfolio.Build thorough pre-commercialization plans for hand-off to brand partner for successful releases/launchesManage, refine, and prioritize pipeline of new product features to feed a steady, value-added release cycleCollaborate with internal and cross-BU stakeholders on projects that expand our digital ecosystem and grow our AI and virtual care market shareDevelop and execute hardware PLCM strategy

Design and execute research that informs: digital and hardware product innovation, competitive insights, and long-term strategy — with a strong emphasis on software and digital healthcare solutions.

Engage with customers, KOLs, and research firms to gather VOC and understand unmet user needs, particularly within virtual care, AI, and digital health workflows.

Understand potential new sources of volume in adjacent and game-changing markets; collaborate with your portfolio teammates, BD, R&D, RAQA, and other cross-functionals to build strategy for these markets, with a focus on software-driven opportunities.

Build financial business case models to support new product or capability development, with specific application to our virtual care portfolio.

Build thorough pre-commercialization plans for hand-off to brand partners, ensuring seamless launches of digital and software-enhanced healthcare solutions.

Manage, refine, and prioritize a pipeline of new product features—especially within software platforms and connected devices—to feed a steady, value-added release cycle.

Collaborate with internal and cross-BU stakeholders on projects that expand our digital ecosystem and grow our market share.

Develop and execute hardware PLCM strategy, integrating software lifecycle considerations and connectivity requirements wherever applicable.


What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree required6+ years of work experience required

Preferred

3+ years digital health or software experience preferredMarketing or product management experience preferredMedical device experience preferredMBA or advanced degree in related field preferred

$100,500 - $215,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors

Travel Percentage: 20%
