Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) or equivalent in an Engineering discipline. Preferably certified PMP or holder of equivalent certifications/memberships.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in project planning within the Oil & Gas industry. Must include offshore greenfield and brownfield fabrication and installation of jackets and topsides. At least 5 years of experience with National Oil Companies and/or International Oil Companies. Proficient in project planning, scheduling, control & monitoring, forecasting, trending, risk assessment, claims analysis, and progress verification. High computer literacy with MS Office and project control software including Primavera. Skills in Primavera Risk Analysis and Power BI are highly desirable. GCC work experience is preferred. Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Project Master Plans and Schedules across all phases and stage gates of the project lifecycle. Provide planning input to key deliverables such as: Project Execution Plan (PEP) Risk Management Plan & Risk Register Change Management Plan Monitor project close-out activities and contribute to the finalization of the Close-out Report. Perform comprehensive planning activities including scheduling, monitoring, forecasting, and progress reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually). Maintain Project Builder data in SAP for group reporting and analysis. Generate early warnings and intervention opportunities to influence project outcomes. Update and manage the Integrated Resource Planning system using Primavera. Develop planning and scheduling requirements for tender documents, including: Progress Measurement Reporting Instructions Scope of Work Payment Terms LD Milestones Document Review Periods Evaluate technical proposals as part of the Technical Evaluation Team, ensuring compliance with planning and reporting standards. Review and endorse contractor planning packages including execution programs, recovery plans, and resource plans. Monitor contractor performance, conduct variance analysis, and validate progress reports. Recommend corrective actions and mitigation measures for deviations. Conduct “what-if” and schedule risk analyses to anticipate and mitigate unforeseen changes. Estimate monthly progress for Service Entry Sheets (SES) and verify reported progress with stakeholders. Provide schedule input for annual budgets, revisions, and supplementary budgets. Analyze schedule variances and contribute to budget variance reports. Assess contractor Extension of Time (EoT) claims using international norms and time impact analysis. Participate in the development and implementation of project planning procedures and work instructions.
