The role

Reporting to the Planning Manager and responsible for planning, scheduling and coordination of the project.

Project description

KBR is supporting the Iraq Ministry of Planning with the development of economic and social policies within the varied governmental sectors to achieve the national development objectives. KBR is providing consultancy services covering economic master plan, project prioritization, technical and financial review, project management, ongoing project monitoring and negotiation support.

Main responsibilities Hands on planning and scheduling on strategic level Preparation and maintenance of the project work breakdown structure and integrated project master schedule Coordination with Package Managers, Consultants and Contractors Analysing and reporting on Consultant and Contractor schedules and progress reports Perform critical path analysis of schedules Prepare independent risk analyses of Consultant and Contractor schedules Preparation of monthly and weekly reports and dashboard using Power BI or similar tools Experience, skills and knowledge BSc construction management, engineering, planning, management information systems or equivalent Minimum overall relevant experience 15 years Minimum relevant experience 8 years in the role projects Minimum regional experience 5 years Required professional memberships and charterships required Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and utilities Experienced user of Primavera P6 Experienced in producing reports using Power BI and integrating with Primavera to automate reports production Excellent knowledge of CPM networks, resource and cost loading and risk management techniques Ability to effectively monitor and analyse progress, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions Excellent report writing skills Previous experience in the Middle East is an advantage Fluency in English both written and spoken Arabic speaking advantageous Competencies Leadership Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commercial awareness Strong customer focus Planning & organising Accepts responsibility HSE awareness About the Company
