Department overview:
The Franchise (Latin America) division is part of the Wholesale team within Michael Kors and is responsible for 180+ stores spanning 35+ countries, including Lifestyle, Multi-brand, Outlets and Ecommerce.
The Planning function defines the strategic plans and must work collaboratively with Buying, Sales, Operations, Logistics and VM to maximize sales potential and drive the business forward. The team operate in a fast-paced environment and must be agile and dynamic to cater for the partner’s needs.

What You’ll Do:
The primary purpose of this role is to partner with MK commercial teams, franchise partners to drive the planning and trading strategies that will grow and maximize commercial opportunities for Franchise in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the ‘go to’ person for financial reporting, analysis and trade discussions relating to your area of the business.Take initiative in making strategic trade suggestions and competently tackle challenging partner conversations.Manage the critical path to set-up and streamline ways of working; tailoring to meet the needs of your business.Demonstrate critical thinking and challenge the status quo of our reporting systems/processes to maximize efficiency and achieve increased sales, profitability and sell-thru.Build and maintain 5Y growth plan in collaboration with Business Development Director; ensuring both MK and partner expectations are met.Work autonomously to strategically manage WSSIs to forecast seasonal open-to-buys, propose in-season replenishment opportunities, effectively plan promotional activity/EOSS, minimize terminal stocks and cancellations.Own the end-to-end process of OTB review, presenting to Directors/VP and negotiating with Partners.Establish partnerships to support Business Development and Sales teams in market preparations, assortment building and buying appointments; confidently taking the lead where required.Lead the set-up of new assortment and range planning tools to connect creative and financial requirements through strategic assortment and range planning.Work closely with Operations to monitor the flow of stock into stores, ensuring the timely launch of new seasons, reactive replenishment and effective EOSS management.Assist in the planning and execution of new store openings and exit strategies for store closures.Strong people leader, who coaches, motivates and develops team members.You’ll Need to Have:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.5-10 year experience within a Planning/Merchandising position (preferably within franchisees).Advanced Excel Skills.Prior experience managing junior level reports.Experience in an International Brand/Retailer.We’d Love to See:

Compensation Range:
$105,000.00-$130,000.00
