Group: Engineering & Projects Job Purpose To lead and execute piping and pipeline engineering activities, ensuring all work complies with operator standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. The role focuses on delivering high-quality technical solutions within multidisciplinary project environments. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and engineering of piping and pipeline systems. Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards, project specifications, and approved variations. Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution; escalate unresolved issues when necessary. Draft, revise, and implement engineering policies and procedures. Work closely with external engineering teams and appointed representatives to align designs with project objectives. Analyze complex engineering challenges and provide recommendations. Apply Operator philosophies and procedures to all piping specifications, designs, and procurement activities. Develop detailed work plans and schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Monitor and guide FEED and EPC contractors, as well as third-party service providers. Assist other engineers with complex analyses and provide technical expertise. Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Experience Minimum of 6 years in piping and pipeline engineering within the oil & gas industry, with at least 4 years in a project management team role. Skills Strong command of written and spoken English. Proficient in engineering software tools and systems. Familiar with Operator, national, and international engineering standards. Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical tasks.
