Wood is recruiting for a Senior Piping Engineer to join its Power & Industrial, Steam Generation System (Boilers) business , global leader in the delivery of project, engineering, equipment and technical services to the energy and industrial markets.

The Role

Perform the function of Senior Piping Engineer on large or complex projects, including Design and Supply of Power plants piping.  Perform piping Layout into plant layout, piping & supports specifications and calculations according to American ASME I and ASME B31.1 or European codes: Piping design conditions, Piping Materials Selection, Piping thickness calculation, Piping stress analysis (Piping flexibility analysis) and supports calculations.  Prepares, verifies and/or approves piping isometrics and support drawings related to the technical calculations performed.
