Our work depends on the right Senior PeopleSoft Developer joining our team to develop/modify solutions for our PeopleSoft environment in support of our customers by providing a system that facilitates their daily work.  The Senior PeopleSoft Developer will implement solutions utilizing the wide variety of PeopleSoft development tools that allow our customers to work effectively in the tool.

HOW A SENIOR PEOPLESOFT DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications softwareApplies advanced knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycleApplies advanced knowledge to analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needsApplies advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needsProvides advance analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or statusProvides advanced guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updatesMay coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionalsMay serve as a team or task lead
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or DegreeRequired Experience: 10+ years of experience working with PeopleSoft HCM and/or Payroll applications including: PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM and/or Payroll data modelsPeopleTools 8.5x or laterOracle or similar relational database requiredDemonstrated experience with SQL performance tuning and optimizationPeopleCode, Application Engine, Workflow, Component Interfaces, PS Query and SQRProcess Scheduler, Data Mover, and Import ManagerExperience in planning, implementation and design of PeopleSoft customizations and integrationsExperience writing complex conversions bringing data into PeopleSoft from acquisitions5+ years of experience developing in other programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C# (C Sharp), VB.NET

Required Skills and Abilities:North american payroll processes including tax updates, year-end processing, reverse/adjustments, overpayments and garnishmentsDevelopment experience utilizing BI Publisher, App Messaging and Fluid pagesStrong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to lead high-visibility effortsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end usersStrong conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop initiatives, as well as recommending solutions to improve efficiencySelf-starter with excellent time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with ease, while maintaining a strong focus on detail

The likely salary range for this position is $127,254 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
