The Senior Core Team Operations Representative (CTOR) represents Operations as the primary Operations interface to cross-functional New Product Development Core Teams. This is a highly visible and impactful senior leadership role, leading global Operations teams and shaping manufacturing and supply chain strategies to deliver successful product launches that meet cost, quality, and supply objectives.

A Day in The Life Of:Program & Operations Strategy
Lead all Operations activities and deliverables across product development planning and execution.
Establish the Operations strategy and co‑create program strategy with cross‑functional partners to meet patient and business needs.
Define and manage program scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and budgets, balancing risk, cost, and speed.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain Execution
Establish and govern key Operations performance indicators (e.g., cost, yield, capacity, and readiness) to enable informed, timely decision-making across the program.
Champion the Voice of Operations across the Core Team, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, cost, and manufacturing readiness.
Shape manufacturing and supply chain strategies across internal sites and contract manufacturing partners.
Drive Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) to deliver high‑quality products with improved first‑time yield, cost predictability, and launch robustness.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the Operations liaison between program leadership, extended teams, and functional management.
Skilled negotiator with demonstrated ability to create mutually beneficial results and negotiate trade-offs across technical, operational, and business constraints.
Establish and govern key Operations performance indicators to enable informed, timely decision-making.
Engage stakeholders at multiple levels to ensure product and manufacturing strategies remain aligned with evolving business needs.
People & Capability Development
Lead and influence a global Extended Operations team across manufacturing, supply management, supply chain, and process development.
Identify resource needs and partner with functional leaders to align skills and capacity to program demands.
Motivate, coach, and develop extended Operations team members, ensuring clarity of expectations and shared accountability.
Promote structured problem‑solving and predictive engineering principles, including DRM, DFSS, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies.
Key Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s NFQ Level 8 degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, leading complex programs.
Experience leading complex new product development programs.
Demonstrated ability to think critically, collaborate across functions, influence without authority, and create alignment.
Proven Operations leadership experience with depth of knowledge in at least two Operations functions.
Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
